Having waited almost a decade for the final installment to the Rebuild of Evangelion series, many fans were excited to see Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time air. Yet this film was messy, confusing, shallow and uncreative, especially compared to the original End of Evangelion masterpiece from 1997.
